Growing Sales Team in Davenport-

Davenport – Sean Connors, Greg Lehman and Gerry McDowell have been hired as a sales specialist for Advanced Systems, Inc. Connors, a Davenport resident, earned a BA from Richard Stockton College of New Jersey. He was previously employed by Mid American Basement Systems. Lehman also resides in Davenport and is a graduate of St. Ambrose University where he double majored in sports management and marketing. McDowell has 5 years of sales experience and earned a MA in organizational management. He currently resides in Clinton, IA and was previously employed by Custom-Pak, Inc.

ASI Honored with Patriotic Award-

Advanced Systems, Inc. Honored by Department of Defense for the Extraordinary Support of Employees Who Serve in the Iowa National Guard and Reserve

 

Waterloo- The Iowa Committee for Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve (ESGR), an agency of the Department of Defense, honored Advanced Systems, Inc. with a Patriot Award in recognition of extraordinary support of its employees who serve in the Iowa National Guard and Reserve.

 

According to Dick Rue, Iowa ESGR State Chair, “The Patriotic Employer Award was created by ESGR to publicly recognize individuals who provide outstanding patriotic support and cooperation to their employees, who like the citizen warriors before them, have answered their nation’s call to serve. Advanced Systems, Inc. was nominated for being highly supportive of their reserve component employees. Supportive supervisors are critical to maintaining the strength and readiness of the nation’s National Guard and Reserve units.”

 

As the 1.3 million members of the National Guard and Reserve continue to perform and increasing number of unique missions with America’s borders and beyond, ESGR will continue to be the resource for the employers of citizen warriors. Advanced Systems, Inc. - An Employer of Choice-

WATERLOO, IA - Advanced Systems was selected as a Cedar Valley "Employer of Choice"; marking the second year for the award, as they were selected as a choice employer in 2010 also. This is the fourth year the Waterloo Cedar Falls Courier called for nominations from local businesses. Nearly 200 workers submitted nominations, but only the top 20 companies were selected. A panel of representatives from a cross-section of the business community selected and ranked the employers.

Waterloo, IA - Mark Brown and Michael Izer have joined Advanced Systems, Inc. as sales specialists and both have previously worked in sales. Izer is a native of Cedar Falls and received his BA in Marketing from Upper Iowa University. His territory will include Cedar Falls as well as Hardin and Franklin counties. Brown attended Hawkeye Community College and Iowa State University and his territory will be Waterloo metro as well as Buchanan county.

Waterloo- Advanced Systems, Inc. has promoted Lane LeBahn to Document Management Specialist. LeBahn was previously a local territory representative and has been with the company for 3 years. Dave Hansen and Bryant Hays have also been promoted to Sales Supervisors. Hansen will manage the sales teams in Waterloo, Mason City and Fort Dodge. Hays will manage the sales teams in Spencer and Sioux Falls, South Dakota.

Waterloo- John Dodge has joined Advanced Systems, Inc. as a Managed Print Services Specialist. Dodge is active in the United States Army Reserve. After returning from a 15 month deployment in Iraq he earned a BA in Finance and recently achieved his MBA from the University of Northern Iowa. He spent the last couple of years as a negotiation consultant.

Sioux Falls Locals Hired to Manage New Territory-

Sioux Falls, SD - Advanced Systems, Inc., an office equipment and technology provider, has recently opened an office in Sioux Falls. Five local residents have been hired to help develop the territory. Craig Ewing has been hired as a field service manager and brings over 32 years experience. Customer service technicians Lorin Pitts and Chris Bergeson, both with electronic degrees, will provide service to local customers and have 37 and 14 years experience respectively.

Jim Liebsch and Mike Linton have been hired as sales specialists for the area. Liebsch has 13 years of sales industry experience while Linton has five.

Advanced Systems, Inc. Opens 8th Branch Office-

Waterloo, IA - Advanced Systems, Inc., an office equipment and technology provider, recently opened an office in Sioux Falls, South Dakota. It is now the eighth branch location for the employee-owned company. The physical address is: 930 W. Cherokee St. and employs five local residents. 

Advanced Systems, Inc. has been in business since 1957 and currently employes 63, of which half are employee owners.

The other branch loctions are located in Iowa: Cedar Rapids, Fort Dodge, Davenport, Dubuque, Mason City, Spencer and Waterloo.
